The reason I am proud of this specific assignment is because this is the second time I did this assignment. The first time I did really, really poorly on the assignment. But this time I was able to prove to myself that I can actually be a successful student in this class.

The reason I chose to use this story is because, I think this is the best work I have done so far this year. I used explicit detail, and I took a lot of time with what I did. I like to think of myself as a very talented writer. This really raised the bar for me. It showed me that I could do better than what I was doing.

I was having tremendous troubles in Integrated Science and Math. I really thought that I could not succeed in any way in that class. This specific assignment allowed me to prove to myself that yes I could indeed succeed. This allowed me to bring my grade up using patience and hard work.

Reflection
This year has been a pretty rough year for me. The first two quarters I had trouble staying on task and getting all of my work done. I had to completely change the year around in the last two quarters of the year. I was in risk of having to attend summer school, or even worse repeat the grade. I only had three hundred lab minutes, and all my classes were pretty low. I had to take all of that and turn it around. That is very, very difficult.
The lab minutes became my life. Anything I needed or wanted to do had to be scheduled around the make-up times which were offered. I had to figure out how to work around this. It was very difficult to work with this fact. It had a good side, in which I saw the consequences with my actions. I now recognize that every action comes with a consequence. In the future I will know that when I make choices It will cause consequences that are not satisfactory.
Right now I am in a better place with all my grades and lab minutes. My lab minutes are now at one thousand two hundred (That is exactly what they are supposed to be at), all of my grades have gone up, and I am at a record breaking low for zeros this quarter. It took a lot of time and practice but I am now on the road which I want to be on.
